Please outline the quality of the work and opportunities made available to students on your programme.
The vacation schemers join two teams for a week each. The practice areas are allocated through the students interests. On joining the team, they are fully immersed into life as a trainee in that practice area - joining meetings, completing research and written tasks and presenting to the teams.
We have a jam-packed timetable, allowing students to get a real taste of a training contract at Taylor Wessing. The schedule is varied, allowing time for development, learning more about Taylor Wessing and socialising, balanced with getting to know their practice area and taking on pieces of work for each team.

Group work
Our group exercise allows our students to exude two of our key values – 'team' and 'creative'. Tasked with creating a graduate promotional video on one of our four key sectors, the students work together in a completely non-competitive style, speaking with a range of people across the firm to develop their knowledge.
Pro bono
Pro bono is incredibly important to us, which is why we allow our students an opportunity to shadow the pro bono clinic that our trainees attend weekly. This opportunity allows students to see the value of pro bono to us and ensures the synergy of this value with the vacation schemer.
I gained a well-rounded understanding of the firm's work, ethos and values. Thank you so much for having me, and I am really looking forward to applying for the summer vacation scheme!
